Now we don't have to lots to say about Lima, partly because we were catching up on admin and sleep but also because we went to the cinema twice in three days. Rapidos y Furiosos 6 (Fast and the Furious) was pretty great though, especially the flying head butt by Vin Diesel.
We did eat some amazing ceviche though
Our next stop was Arequipa, famous for the Colca Canyon, currently the 'deepest canyon in South America/The World'* But after the Inca Trail trek, we didn't fancy much more walking, so we booked a two day tour of the canyon with a key selling point, a fancy lodge!
*may not be true at time of reading this
The scenery was pretty great on our tour
And the lodge was on a par
The best part, apart from the hottest shower, was going condor watching, we got lucky and got to see loads...
