Salvador - lets see some "churtches"

After Maceio, we decided to travel 10 or so hours to Salvador. It was a good choice, the hostel We stayed in had:

  1. Breakfast from 8-12, and they had eggs, and;
  2. They had unlimited free caipirinhas from 5:15 - 6:15

Here is a snapshot of what we saw in Salvador with our guide Luiz who was born and bread in Salvador and has lived there for 60 years. He loves "Churtches"!

The Pelo region was where the slaves were taken to fight against each other in yesteryear, and this is the routes of the Capoeira dance
