Cordoba and Salta

We only had three weeks to get to Peru, so we decided to speed up the next few days. We got an overnight bus to Cordoba to spend the day in the city and then planned to get another overnight bus that night up to Salta.

So onto Cordoba.

With such little time in the city we decided to walk around to see the famous Cathedral and their modern City Hall, both striking buildings.

Then we passed a cinema and couldn't resist going to see something. We ended up watching 'Oblivion' with Tom Cruise but it was pretty bad, especially the ending which was just stupid. But anyway, John got very excited about the news that 'Rapidos y furiosos 6'' (Fast and the Furious 6) was coming out!

Then we only had time for a quick dinner before the next bus to Salta.

We had two days in Salta and so once we'd arrived, we walked up the biggest hill in the city to see the view and have a well earned drink.

The next morning we booked a day tour to visit the towns north of Salta and see the amazing landscape.

So up at 6:30am to start the drive up to see the 'Seven coloured mountain'

We went to visit the town nearby

We saw some giant cactuses, with boobs

We went to the Tropic of Capricorn

And saw the biggest bag of wotsits ever

As well as some pretty cool views

And then next stop, back to Chile, to San Pedro de Atacama
